First Snow

Morgan was so excited a couple of weeks ago. She woke up to the very first snowfall of the season. She couldn't wait to get home from taking the older kids to school to build her first (all be it small) snowman. Unfortunately, it didn't last long and melted within a few hours. She is patiently waiting for the next snowfall, when she can try her hand at a larger snowman.

Election Day

This morning I am proud to say I was able to use my right as an American and vote in the Presidential election. No matter the outcome, at least I was able to cast my ballot and have my voice be heard. I hope everyone has the chance today to get out and vote.

Splash Mountain

I forgot to scan this photo from our Disney trip. It is from the ride Splash Mountain. Enlarge it and check out McKayla's face. If that isn't the ultimate look of fear I don't know what is. I'm terrible, but this is one of my fav. pics from our trip! The funny thing is another night she got to pick one last ride to go on and she picked Splash Mountain again. This time I went with her and we were stuck on it for about an hour!

The Joys of having 3 sisters!

There is never a dull moment when you have 3 sisters. Hang in there Jordan, one day when all their cute friends come around you will appreciate them even more.

Halloween

The kids all had such a fun Halloween. Initially we went to the older girls' Halloween parade at school.

Then Morgan had her preschool program/parade.

Later in the evening we went trick or treating with the girls and Jordan went to a Halloween party. The weather was nice and the rain held off until late that night.

Kam: AKA the good witch

McKayla: AKA the scary ghost

Morgan: AKA the pretty princess

Jordan: AKA the handsome hippie

Pumpkin Patch

For some reason Halloween seemed to sneak up on me this year. We went out to get pumpkins the night before Halloween! Of course at 6 pm the places I usually get pumpkins were all closed. So we headed to good ol' Walmart for our pumpkins. The kids found ones they wanted and I got them at a clearance price so everyone was happy! Then it was home to get creative carving.

We did make it to a pumpkin patch. Here are a couple photos of the rides the little girls went on. I didn't get a photo of Mo going down the slide because she was on my lap. Let me just tell you when you get to be my age, the bumps don't seem so smooth anymore!
