Baseball tournament

This week Jordan's team has been competing in a baseball tournament. They won their game Tuesday night, which put them in the semi-finals this afternoon. This was a real nail-biter. It went into 2 extra innings. Luckily, we came out ahead as a player hit Jordan in off of 3rd and he was able to make the winning run. I wish I had a picture of it. Some of his teammates were so excited they tackled him. It was funny. Ang. was out of town so he got the play by play over the phone. He probably lost his hearing when they won and I screamed in his ear!! So, after winning this game it put them in the championship game tonight. Unfortunately, we didn't win the championship. They played hard and I am very proud of them for taking 2nd in the league. Obviously, Jordan had his sights set a little higher, but they tried their best. The final score was 5-3.

Trampoline fun

This weekend Ang. was able to complete our trampoline. The
kids were absolutely thrilled to
finally be able to have something to play on outside other than dirt. Since moving into our home he has been very busy working on several projects. We can cross this one off the list! Now, on to the next one.

Friend party

Kamryn has been asking to have a summer party with a few friends to celebrate being out of school. I told her she could, so she has been busy planning. She made games, invitations, etc. I just had to commit to the day. Finally, I said let's do it on Friday. Jordan had a friend over and so did McKayla. We made individual pizzas, played games, watched movies and had a great time. I do have to say that Jordan's main purpose was to tease the girls all night. To say it got a little chaotic at times is an understatement.

They all had fun. Good thing tomorrow is Saturday, so I can recooperate.

Exhausted!

I walked into the kitchen to find McKayla sound asleep at the island. I think all of the play finally caught up to her. She fell asleep while eating dinner and coloring, all while dressed up in an old halloween costume! Priceless, especially the drool, eewwwww!! ha ha

Take me out to the ballgame......

One of our favorite activities this summer has been the great American past-time, baseball. Jordan plays short-stop and has worked really hard at it. He has done really well. His team is currently in 1st place in their division. He was picked to be on the all-star team, but unfortunately we are going to be on vacation during the tournament so he has to miss it, bummer! He was very disappointed to miss out on this opportunity. But we are all so proud of him. Good job Jordan!!!!!




McKayla signed up for T-ball this year with her friend. She had such a great time. I don't know what she liked more the socialization or her pink baseball mit that lights up. I think it was a little bit of both. Trying to keep her focused on the game instead of playing with the other kids was a bit of a challenge. Our friends were her coaches and they were so cute with her. She absolutely loves them. What a great time watching her!!

Bathing Beauties!!

This summer has been packed with activities. I can't believe how busy I have been. Where have the "lazy days of summer" gone? The kids are all having such a great time with their various activities. The girls just completed their swim lessons. They had such a great time. I was really worried that Morgan would be scared, but she looked forward to it everyday. McKayla would even sleep in her swimsuit the night before in anticipation for her lesson the next day!!

Dance recital time!

Along with school getting out and the usual business that goes along with that. Kamryn and McKayla had their annual dance recitals. This year we 'got' to go to both nights and watch them perform. They were both very excited and did such a great job. I can't believe how big they are getting, and so quickly. Next year, little Morgan will be 3 and will be able to be in the recital also. She is excited to start dance. She loved watching her big sisters and couldn't wait until the recital was over so she could wear their fun costumes!
