Brylee

This sweet little girl just turned 2! She is my adorable niece (well, great-niece actually. It just makes me sound much older) :)

We got to celebrate with her at Chuck-E-Cheese's. Ooooo she is just too cute! Too bad my pictures didn't turn out very good she is in a constant state of motion! :) Or maybe I am starting to shake in my old age......

The big 4-0!

No one could just let this birthday pass this year, hmmm wonder why? Maybe because I am OLD! :) Thanks to my friends and fam. I have some fun pictures to post.

Our cute friends Dallas and Rich decided to let everyone share in my joy wherever I drove by vandalizing my car. I had these cute sayings all over and filled with black and silver balloons. I had so many people laughing it was hysterical. The elementary kids at school were hilarious. It was like I was a side show. :)

Had a nice lunch with Tiff at the Blue Lemon.

Then was TOTALLY surprised a couple of days later with a surprise party. Now, to surprise me is no easy feat because I can always pick up on something. But I can honestly say I had NO idea, which really isn't a good idea because I would have worn something totally different ha ha. I'm very impressed actually. All of my family showed up (which is awesome because they had a long way to drive) along with our dear friends.

I even had the Grim Reaper stop by for a short time. He sneaked up behind me and scared the living daylights out of me when I turned around. Mo wanted nothing to do with him. She insisted she wasn't scared, but wouldn't go near him.

And yes! In case you were wondering, I can still blow out all the candles with one breath!

Little Miss Mo

OK, seriously, this has to be the luckiest little girl (other than the fact I am her mom) ha ha. But really, when she gets older I should take her to Vegas with me .......

If you know Mo very well you know she LOVES, or should I say is addicted to those silly crane machines in every store you walk into. She has even been known to ask me to go to a store just to play the machines. Now, I know they are the biggest waste of $$ but she wins all the time! For instance in this picture she put a quarter in and the claw missed the animal, but as it was coming up it catches the string on the tag and she wins it. When she goes to get it out of the bin there is another one in there so 2 animals. She is squealing and jumping up and down I was just laughing. Well she had 2 more quarters and couldn't just save them so she plays them and wins another animal! Too funny. I need to start rubbing her head for luck every day.

Couldn't resist posting this pic. in Walmart after she scored at the machine.

Vegas '09

This year we were planning our annual Vegas trip when I got an email from one of the hotels we had stayed at in the past. It announced Garth Brooks was coming out of retirement and would be playing his first concerts in Dec. With not as much excitement from my better half we knew exactly what day we would be going and what we would be doing! I don't think I will ever stop being a fan of Garth. Tried getting tickets the moment they went on sale. Ended up getting awesome seats opening night and the concerts sold out a while later. I had THE best time. Unlike any concert I have ever attended.

Very personal it was like he was just a friend visiting and singing to you. cameras weren't allowed so I couldn't get a really good picture but had to get something, seriously, this is Garth....come on!

Joe Torre and his crew sat right behind us so Ang was thrilled. He was very nice and if I would have thought I would have congratulated him on leaving the Yanks and going to the better franchise the Dodgers (my lifetime fav.) :) ha ha

Yes, I want to go to Garth again next year. I will be the official stalker and will probably have my picture posted as a security warning.

We also met up with the Rainey's while there and went to dinner and Terry Fator. Very funny. Had a great time with them.

Summer Wrap-up!!!!

Yeah, I know.....it's about time!!! I can't believe how fast the summer came and went this year. I'll post some pictures to show some things we were up to.

Jordan was excited to win a trophy at the AF basketball clinic for a free throw competition and a dribbling competition.

The girls finished out the dance season with their dance recital.

Morgan turned 5 and wanted a hamster for her gift. She named it Cinderella, unfortunately Cinderella must have turned into a pumkin at midnight, because it came up missing and hasn't been located since....ewww!

Kamryn's dance company was able to perform at the Stadium of Fire.

Ang's monster pumpkin plant I think he must have been feeding it steroids :)

Kayla ........just being Kayla, ha ha.

Went to Lake Powell with our friends. Had a great time!

The fun before the pain.
Unfortunately Jord broke his collar bone on the first day so his fun ended. :(

Jordan ended up getting 13 stitches a couple of weeks later. I know- gross picture, but wanted you to feel like you were there with me....:)

Attended the Oquirrah (sp) mountain temple open house, gorgeous!

Went to Cali. for my nieces wedding. She's adorable!

Went back to Cali. for some insurance training for work. One of the ladies doing the training was Vicki Gunvalson. We later had a barbecue at her house that evening. She is sooo friendly.

A friend in Seattle I work with. He tries to keep me sane - tough job!

Kam got her braces on.

First day of school - don't they all just look so happy! ha ha

There you have it everyone. A quick update of our summer. I do have some fall pictures to post but don't want to be too on the ball, ha ha. Hopefully I will get those uploaded soon, though. Stay tuned...
